Essence was always a puppy with a huge amount of potential. She was a strong, athletic, and playful puppy, coming from lines that include both outstanding conformation and agility champions.
Essence proved that potential in winning the Grand Futurity at the 2005 MCOA Mastiff Nationals held in French Lick, Indiana. She took first in Futurity Bitches 6-9 Months Old, Best Junior in Futurity, and was awarded Grand Futurity Champion. She also took 2nd Place in the regular Bitch Class for 6-9 Months Old.
On her way to the 2005 MCOA Nationals, Essence won Reserve Winners Bitch at the Utah Valley Kennel Club Show held on May 7, 2005; and won Winners Bitch at the Platte Valley Kennel Club of Fremont Show held on May 8, 2005.
Essence won Reserve Winners Bitch at her first show held by the Chintimini Kennel Club on March 13, 2005 in Albany, Oregon. Essence took 1st in the 6-9 Month Class at the Timberland Valley KC Show (a MCOA Supported Entry Show) in April 2005.
In July 2005, Essence took Reserve Winners Bitch at the Greater Clark County Kennel Club Show, the Portland Kennel Club Show, and the Tualatin Kennel Club Show.
On Saturday, Oct 29, 2005 Essence took a 4-point Major at the Vancouver Kennel Club Show as Winner's Bitch. She followed that on Sunday, with another Major taking Best of Winners and Best of Breed.
On Saturday, April 1, 2006 Essence won Best of Winner's and became a New Champion at the Chintimini Kennel Club Show in Albany, OR.
Essence has since won multiple Best of Opposites. She inherited outstanding athleticism from her dam Morgan.
Essence won another Best of Breed at the Richland Kennel Club Show on September 30, 2007. Essence began the 2008 season winning Best of Opposite Sex at three consecutive shows in Puyallup, WA.
Essence became an International Champion at the 2008 Oregon Spring Sieger held in Albany, OR on April 19-20, 2008.
