Legend obtained his Championship by taking Winner's Dog and Best of Winners at the July 5, 2003 Genesee Valley Kennel Club show in Hamlin, NY; and is living up to his name. Both of Legend's parents are outstanding champions in their own right, and excellent examples of this noble breed. A multiple Best of Breed winner, Legend is a wonderful mover, a great Champion, and an outstanding example of the breed. Legend is also an outstanding sire of several Best of Breed Champion Mastiffs.
Legend is a sparkplug of a dog - always on the go, and looking for somebody to play with. Legend took took his first win and Best of Winners for a 5-Point Major at the Springfield Kennel Club Show in Springfield, MA on November 24, 2002. Legend followed this by taking Best of Winners at the Kennel Club of Niagara Falls Show in Hamburg, NY on January 9, 2003. On Feb 15, 2003 Legend took Best of Winners for another 5-Point Major at the Wyoming Valley Kennel Club show in Clarence, NY.
At the 2003 MCOA National Specialty in Carlisle, PA, Legend took Reserve Winners Dog out of an entry of 128 Mastiffs.
Legend won Best of Breed at the Beaver County Kennel Club Dog Show in Canfield, Ohio on August 2, 2003 in his first show as a Champion.
Legend earned his International Championship in three International All-Breed Canine Association of America (IABCA) Dog Shows held in Hillsboro, Oregon over the weekend of May 8-9, 2004. In two of the shows, Legend took both Best of Breed and Best In Show honors.
Legend won Best of Breed at the Umpqua Kennel Clubs Shows held in Roseburg, Oregon on June 12 and 13, 2004.
On Oct 28, 2004, Legend took Best of Winners (and a 5-point major) in his first Canadian Dog Show at the Peace Arch Working and Herding Association show.
Legend again won Best of Breed at the Umpqua Kennel Club Shows held in Winston, Oregon on June 18 and 19, 2005. On June 19, Legend also took Group 4 honors.
Legend won Best of Breed at the Southern Oregon Kennel Club Show in White City, Oregon on August 4, 2005.
Legend joined the MCOA Hall of Fame in 2007.
