Sierra is a beautiful female Mastiff. She was born on August 5, 2000. She has a fantastic pedigree, and is now a great champion. Sierra exhibits a lot of "type", and has a beautiful head with a deep dark mask.
In July 2002, Sierra won Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite on the first day of the Genesee Valley Kennel Club Dog Show; and won Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite on the second day of the GVKC Show. In early August, Sierra won Best of Winners and Best of Opposite in Owego, NY. Sierra then followed that up by taking Winners Bitch both Saturday and Sunday at the Tonawanda Valley Kennel Club show in Albion, NY on August 31 and September 1, 2002. Sunday's win gave her the necessary points to finish her Championship! In November 2002, Sierra won Best of Opposite at the Susque-Nango Kennel Club Dog Show in Syracuse, NY.
Sierra completed her Companion Dog Obedience title in three days at the Wine Country Dog Shows (Romulus, NY) in September 2002. She also passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International tests.
After moving to the West Coast, Sierra won Best of Opposite at the Portland Kennel Club Show on Saturday, Oct 11, 2003. Sierra also took Best of Opposite at the Willamette Valley KC Show on Saturday, Nov 1, 2003 in Albany, Oregon.
Sierra won her International Championship at three International All-Breed Canine Association of America (IABCA) Dog Shows held in Hillsboro, Oregon on the weekend of May 8-9, 2004. At one of the shows, Sierra took Best of Breed.
At the age of 6-1/2, Sierra won her Rally Novice Title earning the required three qualifying scores in three attempts.
Sierra was bred by JoAnn Young, by Lionhearted Medieval Man out of Grizzly's Total Eclipse.
