Kalani is a Legend grand-daughter from the breeding of CH Marcy Mtn's Thunder of Legend (owned by Kelli and Nick DeSoto, with Doreen Dysert) and CH Wynwood's BS Justin Time (owned by Ben and Courtney Sohn).

Kalani placed 2nd in both Sweepstakes and Futurity at the 2009 MCOA Nationals held at Fontana Village, North Carolina.
On July 19, 2009, Kalani won Winner's Bitch and a 4-point Major Cascade English Mastiff's Club's supported entry for the Stumptown Cluster in Portland, Oregon.
In October 20009, Kalani took Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex with a 5-point Major at the Lizard Butte Kennel Club show in Idaho.
Kalani won her Championship at the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers Show in January 2010. Since then, Kalani has won multiple Best of Breeds and Best of Opposite Sex titles and was one of the top female Mastiffs of 2010.
